Purpose
The Waukesha Catholi Public Relations and Recruitment committee began in the fall of 2004 to research and develop a website. The purpose was two-fold: to have a tool to market our school system to persons outside Waukesha Catholic, as well as to have an additional resource for our parents, students and staff.

In addition to providing an up-to-date reliable resource, our long term goal is to reduce printing costs as well as save time for our staff and parents by managing information more effectively.

Technicals
This website is powered by ASP.NET (Active Server Pages.NET), HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and SQL Server (SQL is pronounced 'sequel'). Most of the content on the website is stored in a secured SQL Server database. This design allows the content to be maintained and published through secured data entry screens by staff and volunteers with no web page development experience.
